Welcome to all our new followers - let us introduce ourselves again 🫶🏼
We're Adam and Caron - home educating parents to a bloody brilliant kid called Autumn, and paw-rents to Murphy the dog.
We created You Can Sit With Us back in early 2025 as a drop off, co-learning space for home educated children. The best way to describe it was: like co-working, but for kids. Businesses don't always go to plan though, and sometimes we just have to let it grow organically in the direction it wants to go - and that's okay! So now, we run social coffee mornings for home educating families to come and have a cuppa, let their kids play & feel like they belong to a little community.
We're also building an online community for other businesses who offer home educating sessions/events to advertise.
We are doing so much behind the scenes to make sure that what we offer is welcoming for everyone. The clue is in the name: 'you can sit with us'. No cliques, no judging, no sitting alone. Just a bloody lovely group of families who are ready to welcome anyone in ✌🏼
We are running 2 sessions per month. One in Paignton, and one in Exeter.
We're at on the first Tuesday of every month, and at on the second Wednesday of every month.
Our next dates are:
Tuesday 5th May - Paignton
Wednesday 13th May - Exeter
Home educating families:
Come along with the kids, have a cuppa and a snack and make yourself at home with us.

Businesses:
Get in touch with us - come along to our sessions and we can organise for you to chat to home educating families about what you can offer for them.
No need to book, just turn up. We'll be there with bright orange lanyards so that you know who to look out for! 🫶🏼
