On Easter Sunday the 5th of April I travelled to Bournemouth and went to the park to meet Spudman.
I caught the train at 11:45, walked over to where he was, and I was proud to get him holding up my two campaign leaflets for my campaign.
My campaign is about opening up barriers for people with learning disabilities and helping make it easier for them to get into jobs, work experience, and training opportunities.
It is also about standing up against bullying and unfair treatment, and making sure people with learning disabilities feel safe, supported, respected, and included when they are at work and when they are starting a new job.
Thank you, Spudman, for taking the time to support and help raise awareness — it really means a lot.
Every bit of support helps the campaign grow, and today was a great step forward.

On Tuesday the March 31st, we captured a great campaign moment with Francis Benali, with our campaign leaflet clearly shown to help raise awareness.
We have now created an updated campaign image from that moment to help continue spreading the message and supporting the campaign.
Our campaign is all about breaking down barriers for people with learning disabilities and making it easier for them to access jobs, training, and work opportunities.
We are also standing up against bullying, exclusion, and unfair treatment, and pushing for people with learning disabilities to feel safe, supported, respected, and included in the workplace.
Every image, every leaflet, and every bit of awareness helps us keep moving the campaign forward.

I went to Brighton Amex Stadium with Mencap Sporting Communities. We took part in several workshops and got to meet Olympic Champion Jessica-Jane Applegate. Jessica is very inspirational.
I took part in a dance class and got opportunities to talk about LDVFB.
