My next 8 week Women’s Strength Training course at The Studio - Strength and Wellness begins on Monday 5th May (bank holiday Monday)

Here’s what you need to know but you can contact me to find out more:

2 x 1 hour sessions a week (option to do 1 session a week)

Both morning and evenings slots available

There’s a total of 4 ladies in one session (who are all lovely!!)

No lifting or gym experience needed

Sessions are held in my private studio in Heywood so no need to enter a big gym environment

I’m also a sports therapist so I can help you with existing injuries or with anything that may need modifying

Really chilled, non-competitive and fun place to train.

Cost: £210 for 2 sessions a week for 8 weeks

My own little PT Studio where I’ll now be based ❤️

I’m still in Heywood but now have a small unit on Manchester Street (OL10 1PB)

Here I’ll be running my Women’s Strength Courses, Cardio based sessions, Personal Training, Group Stretching Sessions, Sports Therapy (Massage, Acupuncture, Myofascial Cupping, Manual Lymphatic Drainage with Red Light Therapy, Injury Rehab & a couple more things to come… 👀)

I wanted a bright and relaxed space for people to train in and I feel thats what I’ve got 😍

I’ve been coaching people for over 14 years now and I love it! I have a great, supportive community of people which I want to continue to grow.

This really is a non-judgmental space where you can be yourself without feeling anxious about stepping in to a big gym with lots of other people. It’s probably the least intimidating gym around 🤗

Once I’m settled in I’ll have a little open day where people can come and have a nosey.

I’ll be advertising for a new Women’s Strength block soon along with a couple of new classes.

There are several time slots available, both morning and evening

If you, or someone you know, are looking to get involved in some strength training then feel free to get in touch for a chat

As well as getting stronger and seeing changes in your body, you’ll meet a lovely bunch of ladies and will be working out in a private gym in Heywood

You don’t need to have any experience with weight training but if you do, then great! We can work on getting you some PBs 💪🏼

I’ll have some slots available in the New Year (both morning and evenings)

I can train up to 3 people at a time which will cut the cost for you

We wil focus on building strength, improving lean muscle mass and also improving fitness

It’s a small, private and relaxed environment where you don’t need to worry about what you’re wearing or what anyone else is doing

The time slots I have available vary so feel free to get in touch to see what’s available

The price also varies depending on the size of the group and whether you do a course of 8 weeks ( this is done as a strength & conditioning course and is 2 x 1 hour sessions a week) or if you want to purchase a block booking

If it wasn’t for public figures and certain GPs speaking out then we would be less informed.

Women now have access to more reliable information on how to deal with some of the debilitating symptoms that come with peri-menopause and menopause

There are many steps we can put in place to take control of our own bodies so this period of our lives doesn’t control us

Yes, there are options such as HRT and bio-identical hormones and for many women these options are vital

But putting that aside there are so many things we can do to help ourselves too

Exercise - I will always harp on about this because it’s my industry and what im passionate about

Good nutrition & hydration- same as above

Optimisation of sleep

Reduction of alcohol

Developing and maintaining close and connected relationships with others

Having a good support network around us

Activities and hobbies we enjoy to balance out the stress in every day life

And so many more which I’ll continue to speak about on this page

We have to take responsibility to look after our own bodies, health and well-being
It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it

Just TWO things can make a world of difference

If you did this then not only would you see physical changes but another by-product would be the psychological benefits that come with it

Who would say “No” to that?

For us women it’s inevitable that these hormonal changes are going to happen and it’s often going to be difficult

But choose your difficult

It can be difficult because you don’t do anything about it and you suffer with the symptoms of menopause

Or it can be difficult because it takes a bit of effort to get to the gym and prepare your food….BUT your body and mind will thank you for it and more than likely you’ll experience LESS of the fun symptoms we get as we reach a certain age
