I was just sitting here thinking…
There are people in the world right now, complete strangers to me, going about their evening, who have no idea who I am right now, but are one day going to become whole chapters in my life.
People I haven’t met yet who will one day feel like home.
Friends I’ll laugh with, cry with, grow with… build memories that right now don’t even know I exist.
And somewhere out there, there’s a man just living his life, completely unaware of me…
Yet one day, whether it’s in a year, five, or ten, our paths may cross, and together we’ll create something new.
A whole new storyline. New moments. New meaning.
And then there are the people in my life right now…
Some will stay.
Some will slowly drift into the background, becoming memories I’ll look back on, chapters that once felt permanent but were only ever passing through.
It’s strange when you think about it…
We feel like we’re moving through time, rushing forward…
But really, we’re still.
And as we shift within ourselves, as our consciousness evolves… our energy shifts…
We begin to draw different people toward us.
Like magnets.
Not by force, but by who we are becoming.
New experiences, beautiful, happy, sad.
Filled with lessons.
So it matters… deeply…
Who you surround yourself with.
Because the people closest to you don’t just share your space….
They shape your mind.
Your patterns.
Your wiring.
Your story.
You begin to think like them.
Feel like them.
Become more like them… whether you realise it or not.
So choose carefully.
Choose consciously.
Surround yourself with those you admire, love and value.
And to the echoes of my past…
To the ghosts of who I once was…
To the unknown faces of my future…
One day, when I’m an old woman,
they’ll all be there, woven into the pages of my life.
A collection of souls who played their part.
Some who held me, loved me, kept me safe.
And others who challenged me, broke me open…
and taught me the deepest lessons of worth, truth, and becoming.
Every single one… a character in the story.
And somehow…
all of them necessary.
I hope that the part I’ve played in other people’s stories have been one that helped them grow.
I know that in some lives, I may have challenged people…maybe even hurt them…and in others, perhaps I sparked something, a shift, a moment, a quiet butterfly effect.
We rarely realise how deeply we touch each other’s lives.
How a smile to a stranger…a kind word…a small act of giving… can ripple far beyond what we ever see.
Maybe one day, in a life review, we’ll understand it all, just how incredible each of us has been in the stories of so many others.
So to the ghosts of my past…the souls walking beside me now…and the echoes still waiting to arrive…
I wonder if one day we’ll all sit together in the green room and laugh about the parts we played.
