From Monday 13 April, the Mermaid Centre waiting room will be closed for a few weeks while work takes place to create a more welcoming reception and patient waiting area.

During this time, a temporary reception, waiting room and patient toilet will be available in a portacabin in the Mermaid and The Cove car park.

Patients should register at the temporary reception in the portacabin where a member of staff will collect them for their appointment.

Parking in the Mermaid and The Cove car park will be limited during this time. The drop-off zone will remain available, along with two Blue Badge spaces. Additional parking is available in the 1C car park opposite the Microbiology building, around 100 metres away, near the bright yellow pavement.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience while improvements are completed.

Join The Cove and South West Coast Path Association as we explore the wonderful
Hayle Beach and Mexico Towans.
Meeting at Hayle Lido (Free parking) for 10am, the group will head along King
George Memorial walk to Phillack and on to Mexico Towans sand dunes. From here
we will make our way to the Coast Path and on to the cafe for some well earned
refreshments.
The walk is around 3.5 miles, and includes some short hills and walking on sand.
We will be taking it steady and sticking together, and the walk offers some
brilliant views across St Ives Bay and Godrevy Lighthouse.

For anyone living with or affected by a cancer diagnosis.
