Due to adverse weather conditions, the Cove at the Macmillan Cancer Support Centre will be closed tonight from 4:30pm.

As a result, all evening sessions and support groups have been cancelled.

Join us on Wednesday 7th January for a visit to the Helston Museum of Cornish Life, followed by an optional walk through the Penrose Estate.
This is a gentle, friendly outing open to anyone with a cancer diagnosis. πŸ’›

Participants needed for a research study on the therapeutic effect of expressive writing for people living with and beyond cancer.

The study is open to anyone who:

Has experienced cancer or its treatment at any point

Is aged 18+

Can read/write in English

Participants will be invited to attend 4 writing sessions (at Cove Macmillan Support Centre or via Zoom) to write freely for 15 minutes about their cancer experience and complete some questionnaires.

Come and join us at the last 5K Your Way. Move Against Cancer meet-up of 2025...THIS SATURDAY 27th December at Trelissick parkrun

We are a growing, supportive community of people affected by cancer who want to get outside and get moving. Everyone is welcome, no matter how cancer has affected you. Run, jog or walk - or just come for a cuppa and a natter.

Meet from 8.30am, briefing is at 8.50, it's a 5-minute walk to the start line, and Parkrun/Parkwalk starts at 9am.
