Motherhood is a gift that changes you. Not just your routine..
Your body, your nervous system, your capacity.

Some changes are visible. Some are quieter.

The love that comes alive.
The tiredness that lingers.
The edge you didn’t used to have.
The sacrifice you’re willing to make.

The Mother Reset Retreat was created for your space.

A day to put your oxygen mask on first…
so you can return and give from a place of clarity and strength.

Held in the East Sussex countryside, this is time to truly rest, to be nourished, and to pause without needing to explain yourself.

If a mother came to mind while reading this,
send it to her.

Intentionally limited to a small, carefully held group.

When I speak at events, I often share the power of 10 minute micro rests… what I call “The 4 S theory”

When life feels busy, intense, or overwhelming,
just 10 minutes of low demand rest can support the vagus nerve, helping the nervous system shift out of fight or flight and back toward regulation.

This is where calming neurotransmitters like GABA are supported, stress hormones begin to lower, and the body remembers how to rest.

I call this a mini micro rest.

It’s not about doing more.
And it’s not about escaping your life.

It’s about giving your nervous system
just enough safety to soften… and exhale.

You don’t need to change everything.
Or take the latest trendy supplements.

Just 10 minutes of low-demand rest can help the vagus nerve receive signals of safety and allow the nervous system to shift out of fight or flight.

With gentle repetition, the body begins to recognise this state and naturally returns to it.

This is what I call a mini micro-rest.

Simple examples:

• Sitting in warmth (sauna, bath, heated blanket)
• A quiet steam or shower with slow diaphragm breathing
• Lying down with a pillow under your knees
• Gentle stretching without effort
• Reading or journalling with no goal
• Stillness without screens

Nothing to achieve, plan or optimise.
Just enough space for the body to exhale.

Lately, I find myself reminding my clients to simply breathe.

Even the best nutrition won’t help
if you don’t allow yourself space to pause.

Often, all the mind needs are small micro pauses
throughout the day. And over time you rewire your brain to switch off at night.

Quick fixes can mask the signal, but they don’t calm the nervous system.

Sometimes you just need to make room
for a moment to breathe…..where nothing requires your attention. Like walking in nature or spending time in the sauna. A few deep breath’s!!

We all have different limits and rhythms.
When you tap into what helps you switch off,
nutrition and supplements can work
at a deeper level.

Hope you find some micro bursts to pause this weekend.

ADVENT.
JOY. Week 3.

It’s busy out there hey! 🌲
This season can land very differently for each of us.

I read this in my devotional this week…

Joy is like a tree.
It isn’t always in visible bloom, but even in winter, it’s still growing … and it will bloom again.

And knowing it will bloom gives us hope.
And when there is hope … even in tender or painful seasons … there can be a quiet undercurrent of joy.

I’ve been reflecting on where my joy comes from, and what I choose to anchor it to.

At church today… this was the message:
Advent isn’t dependent on our mood.
Advent does not ask us to pretend everything is okay.

It gently invites us to notice the gifts of joy that is already here, right in front of us. 🤍

Finished my work year speaking at my lovely friend beautiful women’s event.

It was such a lovely day. I spoke on the Mind and body.

Food and supplements alone will not work unless your mind and body is in the right, safe environment.

Orchids are sensitive to their environment.
They need the right light. The right watering. The right balance. AND, with the right environment … they re-bloom over and over again.

Our bodies are the same.
We’re not fragile … we’re sensitive to our environment.
And with the right support, we rebuild, restore, and rise again.

We ended the session with simple, practical tools .. nourishing food choices, sleep foundations, fermented foods, fibre, and small micro-bursts of movement to lift the lymphatic system, support neurotransmitters, and keep us going.

A gentle reminder in this busy season to protect your space and your environment.

I gave some some probiotic samples from
Biome HER and Biome LIFT. which the ladies absolutely loved learning about.

ADVENT

Tonight my daughter was unsettled, so I sat by the window with her in my arms, holding her until she fell asleep. The stars became our night-light, shining behind the tall trees outside. It reminded me how much we see when we simply look up … The beauty. The stillness. The promise.

Advent is a season of waiting ... Our instinct may be to stay busy, yet the invitation is to pause and notice the magic already here.

If you have children, you have a doorway back into that magic. Through their eyes, the smallest moments become meaningful again. They don’t need endless plans… they just need YOU, present and steady. This will calm their little nervous systems.

The first week of Advent begins with HOPE.
Hope that heals.
Hope that softens us.
Hope that helps us love again.

May you find that hope in whatever rhythm you choose this season. And if your pace slows, I pray you feel the warmth, joy and magic tucked into the little things.

Hey ladies, The Mama & Us Immunity Boost masterclass is for you.

It’s for your immunity this winter.

When we prioritise our own health, we’re in a stronger place to look after everyone else. Our resilience builds and we’re less likely to catch every bug the kids bring home.

Enjoy!

Ever notice you feel off the week before your period?
More anxious, tired, craving sugar, or just not yourself?

This isn’t just “PMS” — it’s your body whispering that it’s depleted.

When nutrients like magnesium, zinc, and B vitamins run low (which happens so often in mothers and women with PCOS), serotonin drops too — and suddenly, everything feels heavier.

Our hormones don’t need us to do more — they need us to listen more.

Instead of pushing through, try slowing down.

Even small rituals — a warm cacao/matcha, an early night, a slower morning — help your nervous system feel safe again. 🍵

These are the little adjustments that make that pre-period dip gentler, not harder.

If you’re feeling this deeply month after month, it might be time to check what’s going on beneath the surface.

I offer functional testing to identify nutrient depletions and hormonal imbalances that could be driving your symptoms.

✨ Save this for your luteal week

Postpartum anxiety looks different for every mama.

It’s not always panic attacks or tears… sometimes it’s hidden in the quiet moments.

💛 Racing thoughts
💛 Overthinking every choice
💛 Feeling on edge when baby naps

If this feels familiar → you are not alone.
And it’s not all in your head.

Your body might simply be depleted and crying out for support.

That’s why nutrients like zinc, magnesium + omega-3s (and sometimes adaptogens) can make such a difference.

And if you want to go deeper → I offer functional testing to uncover hidden depletions and help you restore your health from the inside out.

MOTHERHOOD + HORMONES

We can’t control the wind… but we can adjust the sail.

Motherhood is like this—unpredictable, challenging, and incredible. Just like our hormones.

In my 20s, I was diagnosed with PCOS and told I might never have children. Today, I’m a proud mama of two. But the journey hasn’t been easy—I’ve had to work hard for my health.

After my firstborn, everything shifted. Anxiety, panic attacks, and exhaustion crept in. Through private functional testing, I discovered I was severely depleted in minerals and not absorbing nutrients properly. What I was experiencing was Postpartum Depletion—something rarely spoken about.

After my second baby, new challenges came. I found out I was pre-diabetic—but with the right changes, I reversed it within months.

There were days I felt I didn’t have what it takes. But resilience is born in those moments. With support, testing, and Nutritional Therapy, I uncovered imbalances I never would have seen alone. Slowly, the light returned.

Motherhood transforms you. You birth a new version of yourself each time—and she deserves care, too. When you look after your health, resilience grows not just for you, but for your whole family.

Here, I’ll share real-life motherhood tips, hormone support, and nutrient hacks—simple tools to cut through the noise, reduce overwhelm, and help you (and your family) rebuild health and energy from a place of REST.

And if you’re ready to go deeper, I also offer private testing to help you uncover what’s really going on inside your body.
