We can’t control the wind… but we can adjust the sail.

Motherhood is like this—unpredictable, challenging, and incredible. Just like our hormones.

In my 20s, I was diagnosed with PCOS and told I might never have children. Today, I’m a proud mama of two. But the journey hasn’t been easy—I’ve had to work hard for my health.

After my firstborn, everything shifted. Anxiety, panic attacks, and exhaustion crept in. Through private functional testing, I discovered I was severely depleted in minerals and not absorbing nutrients properly. What I was experiencing was Postpartum Depletion—something rarely spoken about.

After my second baby, new challenges came. I found out I was pre-diabetic—but with the right changes, I reversed it within months.

There were days I felt I didn’t have what it takes. But resilience is born in those moments. With support, testing, and Nutritional Therapy, I uncovered imbalances I never would have seen alone. Slowly, the light returned.

Our little lady is 3.

We did a mini road trip to Holland.
Enjoyed birthday pancakes with cousins.
A safari trip. Saw Giraffes, Zebras, Lions, Elephants.
A wonderful bike ride in the rural country, cute town, sand, lake + paddle boarding.

Our girl…. a rare flower — delicate yet strong.

Inquisitive by nature but a warrior. The zen warrior. She brings a calm presence that draws us in but when tested that’s when the you see her fierce — protective and brave side.

CASTOR OIL PACKS. No need for a fancy castor oil kit.

Just a small muslin cloth, jar, hire water bottle and towel will do.

I’ve been using castor oil packs for years—and always feel the difference when I’m consistent. Especially around ovulation or when my body feels sluggish or inflamed.

Castor oil supports your liver, lymph, and hormone balance—a small ritual with big impact if you give it time and repetition. Think of it as gentle, daily nourishment from the outside in.

The DUTCH Complete Test can help us identify what is going on with your hormones.

I have loved doing this test on my clients. The findings are amazing and it’s never the same result for each women.

This test is ideal for those with PCOS, PMS, those wanting a baby or preparing their body for one. It helps us identify what is going on at a cellular level.

Not many people realise that oestrogen travels through three steps before it leaves the body. If the first step is too fast, and the last step (your gut) is sluggish, hormones can build up instead of clearing out. This is where we see the classic symptoms of PMS like irritability, bloating, painful b***s, clots, PMS, or skin flare-ups.

In these cases - i gently slow down that first step using certain herbs, so your body has time to catch up and clear things properly — reducing symptoms like PMS, headaches, or heavy periods.

A lot of this is also driven through cortisol so the test also looks at our adrenal stress.

THE DANDELION
To us, just a wildflower gone to seed.

To her, a moment of possibility.
A dream released on the wind.
A reminder of how God made things grow.

The beauty in simplicity.
In the breath.
In remembering that He breathed into us too.

These are the moments—the small, simple ones—that remind us children live closer to the original rhythm we were made for… before we forgot.

At two years old, the prefrontal cortex hasn’t yet learned to say “that’s not real”—which means everything in a two-year-old’s mind is real. And full of wonder.

Maybe she imagined the seeds were tiny angels.
Maybe she said a prayer she can’t yet put into words.
Maybe her whole body felt the excitement of creating wind with her own breath.

Dreams don’t have to be spoken to take flight.
And miracles sometimes begin with a breath.

At cellular level - Nothing works in isolation.

ACV can help with insulin sensitivity and PCOS, but it’s most effective with a balanced diet full of fiber, healthy carbs like sweet potatoes, and nourishing fats. These nutrients together, help stabilise blood sugar and support hormonal health.

A sugar spike after meals is normal, but with insulin resistance, your cells may not absorb sugar properly, causing insulin to overshoot.

If ACV doesn’t help, it could signal the need to support your liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.

If you have PCOS, you may react more to sugar, causing symptoms like fatigue, cravings, and brain fog.

Focus on balanced meals, movement after eating to stabilise insulin and glucose within the blood stream.

We all absorb nutrients differently—my friend saw no change with ACV on a glucose monitor, but I did from using ACV. Bearing in mind I have a history of PCOS.

Blood glucose monitors can help identify what causes spikes for you, as everyone’s response is unique.
