Healing Touch

Healing Touch Returning You to Health, Vitality and a Balanced Body Angelina originally came from China, Guangzhou city. Her brother is a local acupuncturist and herbalist.

It is a very traditional city; people there understand the TCM philosophy and the Five elements theory naturally and apply it in their daily lives. She remembers that her parents always boiled soup with some herbs which helps the body to remain in balance. She was brought up in such an atmosphere so for her, TCM philosophy and acupuncture points are naturally rooted within her body. Therefore her

son and her family all benefit from these ancient forms, such as Tui Na, Gua Sha, and Moxa. These experiences really encouraged her to become an acupuncturist to be able to help others. That is why she decided to study and practice the wonderful unique form of medicine. Angelina is not only a registered acupuncturist but also a baby massage instructor and qigong exercise coach. Angelina also has a diploma in paediatric acupuncture. Angelina treats each patient’s problem as a unique case. An individualized treatment plan is designed according to an individual's specific needs and underlying issues. From taking a Chinese medicine view of health, Angelina will incorporate Yang Sheng advice tailored to your health and lifestyle into her sessions which is all about taking care of the body to minimise ill health later down the line.

Brain fog.
Poor sleep.

Perimenopause can last 4–10 years…
which is why understanding your symptoms matters.
Your body is not working against you — it’s asking for support 💛

Waking up drenched or feeling sudden waves of heat? 🔥
In TCM, that's often Yin deficiency – your cooling system running low.

These 5 foods gently cool, nourish, and ease hot flashes & night sweats:

1. Tofu – Steam with ginger
2. Black sesame seeds – Grind into warm milk
3. Goji berries – Steep as tea or add to congee
4. Lily bulb – Boil with barley into a sweet soup
5. Mung beans – Simmer, chill, and serve (skip sugar)

Perimenopause isn’t random.
Your body is communicating — just in a language most of us were never taught to understand.
From a Chinese medicine perspective, symptoms like hot flashes, mood swings, and poor sleep aren’t “problems” to suppress…
They’re patterns showing you where your body needs support.
When your cooling system runs low, heat rises.
When your reserves drop, cycles change.
When your system is out of balance, your body speaks louder.
The question is — are you listening?
I’ve created a perimenopause & menopause map — a practical guide to help you understand your symptoms and methods to ease your symptoms naturally.

That 3am panic is not a heart attack. It's perimenopause.

Here's what's happening — TCM explained:

Your body's natural cooling system runs low. Heat rises. Heart races. Night sweats. Emotions explode.

Quick fix — acupressure point PC6:

📍 Three fingers down from wrist crease, middle between two tendons

🖐️ Press firmly. Massage in small, slow circles (size of a pea)

⏱️ 60-90 seconds on each wrist. Breathe slow.

You are not broken. You just need the right support.

Comment COOL. I'll send the link. 🔥

3 things to avoid during your period — explained with TCM wisdom 🩸❄️

Cold foods, cold feet, and exposed bellies might seem harmless, but in Traditional Chinese Medicine, they can slow blood flow in the uterus — leading to worse cramps and more clots.

Watch until the end to see what happens inside your body 👆

Warmth = smooth flow.
Cold = stagnation + pain.

🍵 Warming tea recipe in my previous post.
Save this for your next cycle and share it with someone who needs to hear it.

👇 Which of these 3 are you guilty of? For me, it's the cold feet one 😅

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, stubborn belly fat isn't about calories — it's about cold and dampness. ❄️💧

Every time you chug iced water, drink cold smoothies, or eat raw salads, you're putting out your digestive fire. Food doesn't get processed — it gets left behind as bloating, puffiness, and stagnation.

Here's your daily belly-warming ritual:

🍂 3–4 slices fresh ginger – internal sweeper
🍂 1/3 tsp cinnamon powder – internal dryer
🍂 2 thin orange slices (skin on) – breaks up liver qi stagnation

Pour hot water, press the orange with a spoon, and drink up.

Once your digestion warms up, the heavy, stuck feeling finally goes away.

⚠️ Pause if your urine turns bright yellow.

Save this for later 🍵
