Welcome to the official South Tyneside Family Hubs page where you’ll be kept up-to-date with the latest news, services and events from your local Family Hub. We will do our best to respond as soon as possible to comments during our opening hours. These are 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. South Tyneside Family Hubs provide high-quality support for families with children and young people aged 0-19 (Or up to age 25 for young people with special educational needs). Children and young people can make friends and learn, while you can also meet other parents and carers, in a safe and relaxed environment. Family Hubs promote all-round development enabling children and young people to flourish at home, school and beyond. We ask that users of this page do not post comments containing bad language, or language that could be deemed offensive to others. Please do not criticise South Tyneside Family Hubs staff directly or indirectly, and please do not advertise services on this page. Singing songs in the language you know best will help to build your child’s communication skills 🗣️

Sing traditional songs and rhymes in your own language. The benefits of singing together in your home language are just the same, and if children know their home language well, it will make it easier for them to begin to learn English 🏠

In support of Show Racism The Red Card's , our staff and families came together, promoting an important message that inspires inclusion across the region 🛑
