South Tyneside Family Hubs South Tyneside Best Start Family Hubs are for every family living in South Tyneside. – putting relationships at the heart of everything we do.

Welcome to the official South Tyneside Family Hubs page where you’ll be kept up-to-date with the latest news, services and events from your local Family Hub. We will do our best to respond as soon as possible to comments during our opening hours. These are 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday. South Tyneside Family Hubs provide high-quality support for families with children and young people aged 0-19 (Or up to age 25 for young people with special educational needs). Children and young people can make friends and learn, while you can also meet other parents and carers, in a safe and relaxed environment. Family Hubs promote all-round development enabling children and young people to flourish at home, school and beyond. We ask that users of this page do not post comments containing bad language, or language that could be deemed offensive to others. Little Inventors will be running a series of JOY LAB workshops across South Tyneside, inviting children, parents and carers to explore their creativity together 👨‍👩‍👧

In these relaxed and playful sessions, families will come up with their own invention ideas that could bring a moment of happiness to someone’s day 🥰

M**s came together to latch and feed their babies at the same time.

Tiny Tweeties Cleadon and South Shields provided the entertainment with some engaging and uplifting songs for all to enjoy!
