Bookending National Breastfeeding Week, this year's theme is "Everyone has a part to play in helping Mums to breastfeed". On the back of this, this post offers just a few suggestions on how Dads/ partners can support breastfeeding Mums (particularly in the early days), places to find in-person support and places to find online support.
The environment and attitude of those around mothers who choose to breastfeed play such a big part in their breastfeeding experiences- we can all play a part in supporting these women and some of the tips for dads can be tweaked for friends & family.
