So our last batch of Lilac Scrubs went to the MAST Team at BRI yesterday! 🙌

(We still have some left in Teal, Mint or Gold should any BRI staff still be in need of them)

Yvonne set out hoping to help a few staff on her Daughter's ward & it snowballed!!!

We feel a strange mixure of fulfilment of our mission & relief the needs of the pandemic are over.....

The truth is none of us really know what Winter holds but we hope the powers that be have a hold on what is needed and have stocked up sufficiently this time......🙏

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone involved in funding and creating 300+ sets of Scrubs with just short of £2500 for BRI and associated Teams dealing with Covid 🌟

We did it!
By 4th May we successfully raised £2,472 with 99 supporters in 30 days
All fabric has now been ordered and most has arrived.....
Scrubs are steadily making their way to the NHS Heroes 🌈
Thank you to all our ladies for their cutting, sewing, threading & labelling 🙏
We have come a long way from nothing to a phenomenal production line of determined, meticulous and generous sewers, eager to help each other in our sewing community within 4 weeks!
We should have this all wrapped up over the next couple of weeks and whether you donated or used your time and skills, you will all have helped someone feel safer, reduced stress of front line staff, and have prevented the virus from spreading further......don't underestimate the depth of your contribution, you are all amazing 👑

We are are still sewing & delivering Scrubs to where they are still desperately needed but, sadly funds are dwindling so after next week we may have to stop helping 😔

UPDATE:

We now have in excess of 50 sets of scrubs for BRI, with some Scrub Bags, Head Bands & Hats ready to be gifted!!!💝

Our wonderful volunteer sewers are beavering away to get as many Scrubs done as they can! 💙

Unfortunately it looks like the Scrubs that were to be provided by BRI for the staff are thin on the ground as there has been no let up in requests 🤔

We are happy to continue sourcing fabric & sewing as long as we can keep the donations coming in 🙏
