Do you have a phobia? Judging by the pictures we’ve been receiving, our students now have a few less phobias! It’s always an enjoyable module showing students how phobias are created and how we can get rid of them.

Did you know- depending on your particular phobia you could be free of it in as few as 4 sessions?! It really is fascinating stuff.

Students are always looking for case studies, or I can have a look at my diary and see when we could get you started on your phobia free adventure.

🌀Facing Phobias in Module 5.

Last weekend our students enjoyed module 5 - it was a great weekend focused on phobias - from understanding the difference between simple and complex phobias to learning how to help clients overcome them and how to approach each one.

It was an intensive weekend where they learnt about Simple phobias - often revolving around specific objects or situations, and complex phobias like agoraphobia and social anxiety - which are more deeply rooted in emotional triggers. Understanding this difference is key to effective treatment. 💪

We had lots of practical exercises and they all learned more techniques and practical tools such as Rewind and Reframe Techniques, Anchoring and Swish Techniques. 🥰 We’re so proud of how much our students have learned and grown during this module!

A lot of time and effort goes into training as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist! Ed and Helen did a brilliant job of their big assessments this weekend. And Ed is working in his 3rd language! We really do have some very dedicated and talented people on our course.

💪 One of the key strengths of the CPHT Sheffield course? The practical experience.

We’re now halfway through the course, and our students are well on their way to becoming qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapists. Each monthly module is packed with hands-on practice - learning techniques in real time that they then take straight into sessions with their practice clients.

By the time they graduate after just 10 modules, our students will already have built up over 200 hours of client work. That means they don’t just leave with a qualification; they leave with real-life experience, clinical confidence, and the skills to start their therapy careers feeling prepared and capable.

A big shout-out this month to Ed and Helen, who both passed their practical assessments - we’re so proud of their progress and the growth we’re seeing across the whole group.🧡
