World Lung Cancer Day 🫁

Some people put off contacting their GP Practice because they think they'll be wasting their time but your GP wants to hear from you if you are experiencing any of the below symptoms.

Clinicians want people to be diagnosed with lung cancer as early as possible as it opens up more treatment options such as; surgery, radiotherapy or drug treatment.

Today is World Hepatitis Day 🩸

Which is an opportunity to step up national and international efforts on hepatitis, encourage actions and engagement by individuals, partners and the public and highlight the need for a greater global response as outlined in the WHO's Global hepatitis report of 2017.

Chronic hepatitis B and C silently cause liver damage and cancer – despite them being preventable, treatable, and, in the case of hepatitis C, curable.

The theme emphasizes the need to simplify, scale up, and integrate hepatitis services!
