Ever been told you need to eat less to lose weight and boost your health?
It’s the wrong advice!

The video says it all but here’s a summary:

❌ Stop stressing about cutting calories and restriction, restriction, restriction!
✅ Start thinking about nourishing your body instead.
➡️ Instead of just reducing how much you eat, focus on the 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 of what you eat.

You want to feel energised, strong, and healthy, not just see a smaller number on the scale.

You can achieve real health without the stress of cutting out chocolate and cheese. Seriously!

Your body needs the right balance of nutrients to thrive, and eating less can deprive it of what it needs.

When you give your body the right nutrients and the right types of movement, you build an unshakeable foundation 🤜🏻 🔥 🤛🏻

This approach helps you gain more energy, a stronger body and better long-term health

WITHOUT feeling deprived or hungry 🙏🏻

💡 Follow me for more tips on sustainable health and how to feel your best every day, not just when you step on the scales and seeing a number you think is ‘healthy’

I spent years torturing myself with food and exercise.

Whenever I ate something “bad,” I’d punish myself by overtraining or restricting food, convinced that being thin was the answer.

Living alone made it easier to hide—no one knew I wasn’t eating, or that I was bingeing on anything sweet I could get my hands on.

I thought I was doing the right thing to stay healthy, but I felt awful every day.

Eventually, I couldn’t take it anymore. I opened up to my mom, realising that I needed help.

I tried hypnosis, but what I really needed was to understand how to make better choices.

Over time, I learned I could enjoy things like chocolate and burgers in moderation without spiralling.

My relationship with food improved, though it took years of ups and downs.

I stopped seeing food as the enemy and started making decisions that supported my well-being, not just my appearance.

Now, 15 years later, I’ve made it my mission to help others break free from that cycle of self-punishment.

I became a certified Nutritional Therapist because I wanted to offer not just personal experience but scientific support.

People aren’t broken—they just need the right guidance.
If I could break free, so can they.

If you’re stuck in this cycle, know that there’s a way out, DM me today if you’d like to discover how I can help.

Why dieting fails every time!

Are you stuck in a cycle of dieting, losing weight, and gaining it all back?

Here’s the truth: dieting is 𝐖𝐀𝐘 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥, 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬.

Many people jump from diet to diet, looking for quick weight loss.

😠 But these diets often fail in the long run, leading to frustration, yo-yo weight gain, and even poor health.

You want to lose weight and feel healthier, but you also want to keep the weight off without constantly feeling deprived or stressed about food.

Dieting focuses on short-term results and restrictions, while sustainable health is about making manageable lifestyle changes that last.

This mindset shift is the most liberating health hack and THE crucial element for long-term success.

Instead of cutting out all carbs 🙄 or following a strict meal plan

➡️ focus on checking if there is enough protein on your plate at breakfast, lunch and dinner 🍽

By shifting your focus from restrictive diets to simple health habits, you’ll lose weight quicker than you ever thought was possible whilst still being allowed to eat chocolate!

But also maintain it, feel more energised, and improve your overall well-being without the constant struggle.

Think dieting is the answer to weight loss?

What if I told you it could be wreaking havoc on your hormones instead?

Constant dieting can lead to imbalanced hormones, affecting your

😔 mood

🥱 energy levels

🤯 and even making it harder to lose weight.

Many people don’t realise that the more they restrict calories or hop from one diet trend to another, the more they disrupt their body’s natural hormone balance.

You want to feel good, have consistent energy, and lose weight in a healthy way.

You want a solution that doesn’t make you feel trapped in a cycle of yo-yo dieting ⛔️

Chronic dieting does more harm than good.

It impacts hormones like

😡 cortisol (stress hormone)

👉🏻 insulin (fat storage hormone)

⚡️and thyroid hormones (metabolism hormones)

ALL making it harder to achieve your health goals.

Instead of cutting calories drastically, focus on:

🥝 🫐 🌽 🍅 🍆 increasing colour on your plate

and checking you have

🫒 olive oil

🥑 avocados

🥜 nuts and seeds

🍣 or oily fish

as part of your daily food intake.

You will have heard this before but your overall well-being is the priority not how much you weigh.

When well-being is the main focus, you will naturally maintain regular eating habits, which stabilise your hormones, reduce stress levels, and create a healthier relationship with food.

This approach is the ONLY sustainable way, leading to long-term health and weight management.

Your Metabolism ISN’T broken

For many women over 35, years of dieting have led to frustration, self-doubt, and the feeling that their bodies are somehow flawed. I see it every day 😔

You’ve tried every diet, faced endless struggles with weight, and it seems like nothing works. I have been there & know how trapped you feel.

It’s easy to believe the problem is you.

Imagine breaking free from that cycle.

Imagine discovering a healthy, simple way to feel good in your body—without dieting.

You want to feel confident, healthy, and in control again.

The truth is, you’re not the problem. Not a single one of my clients has ever been the problem.

The problem is the diet culture that makes you feel like you’re broken.

It’s time to shift that mindset and take a new approach to your health.

Instead of following the latest fad diet, try listening to your body 💛

Start by making small, sustainable changes—like adding 🍅🥕🫑 3 colourful veggies to your lunch and dinner.

The goal is to build habits that last, not to chase short-term results.

When you stop blaming yourself and start working with your body, everything changes.

You’ll find that the right approach isn’t about restriction or perfection—it’s about creating a lifestyle that fits you.

When you get this right, results don’t take long at all 🚀

Are you tired of feeling guilty or anxious every time you eat?

Many women struggle with food guilt, constant dieting, or feeling out of control with their eating.

It’s exhausting and overwhelming to navigate your day when food feels like the enemy.

Building a positive, healthy relationship with food doesn’t have to be complicated.

It starts with small, daily changes that anyone can do.

Here are 5 habits you can start today:

1️⃣ Eat without distractions. Focus fully on your meal, not your phone.

2️⃣ Stop labeling food as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ and enjoy the food for what it is.

3️⃣ Listen to your body’s hunger and fullness signals. Eat when you’re hungry, stop when you’re satisfied. (I have a ‘what hunger is it’ handout…would this be helpful to use?)

4️⃣ Include foods you love. Don’t deprive yourself of your favourites—and bear in mind that your favourites may change over time!

5️⃣ Practice gratitude. Take a moment to appreciate your meal before diving in.

These simple steps may seem small, but I have experienced their power and I watch it change lives daily.

You are not looking for perfection or ticking all 5 for them to work.

1 practice at a time, is your only goal.

After just one of these has become a habit, you’ll begin to feel more in control & more at ease with your food mindset.

Ready to start healing your relationship with food?

Try one of these habits today, and let me know how it works for you in the comments!

What 1 vital ingredient do most Nutritionists forget to tell you about?

JOY

Joy, glorious Joy!

Ok, so it’s not strictly an ‘ingredient’ but I guarantee you this...

If you don’t enjoy your ‘healthy’ food, you can bet your bottom dollar, that you ain’t gonna be eating ‘healthy’ food for long.

Never underestimate how important Food Joy is in your health endeavours!

You cannot fool your brain...it wants the joy. Don’t fight it!

The trick is to find what you can add to your ‘healthy’ food to ensure there is joy on your plate 🤔

My day to day joy examples for context:
- eggs
- mayonnaise
- salmon
- potato salad
- rosemary seeded crackers
- herbs, spices, salt & pepper
- homemade coleslaw (soooo good 😋)
- tahini dressing
- beetroot & berries (bloomin love em)

Why you must be unconditionally YOU

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I almost stopped being me

because I thought I looked like a geek and that my friends would think I’m weird.

I ummmm’d and aaarrr’d about telling people I love hiking, watching birds, reading self-improvement books, playing the Handpan, meditating and learning about the human body.

👇🏻

I used to like drinking, going out late, shopping and going on ‘fashionable holidays’

🍹🛍️

So when my tastes changed, I didn’t want to be outcast by my inner circle

🙁

I tried to blend the old me and the new me

It didn’t work

I just got stressed and kept saying no to everything

Then I decided

✋🏻 not any more!

I am me
…..bird watching, backpack wearing, early night, health podcast listening me!

And guess what

My long-term friends embraced the new me and never made me feel bad.

I made additional new friends with common interests.

AND.....I learnt that if you just be you, very little can go wrong.

🌟

This is a Friday reminder that you are beautifully unique and totally accepted, exactly as you are.

Keep being YOU 💛
