COVID-19 Spring Booster Now Available

Who’s eligible?
You may be entitled to a spring COVID-19 booster if you:
✔️ Are aged 75 or over (by 30 June 2025)
✔️ Live in a care home for older adults
✔️ Are aged 6 months and over with a weakened immune system

How to book:
Please contact the practice to check your eligibility and make an appointment.

Housebound patients:
If you are housebound, please inform the receptionist at the time of booking so we can arrange a home visit.

Our Spring PPG Newsletter is here!

We’re pleased to share that the Spring 2025 edition of our Patient Participation Group (PPG) Newsletter is now available. Written, designed, and prepared by our fantastic PPG members, the newsletter is an important way for us to communicate with our patients — keeping you informed about changes, updates, and the continued progress being made at Billinge Medical Practice.

We would like to thank all our PPG members for their ongoing commitment and support to the practice. Your contributions help ensure our patients stay connected, informed and engaged with what’s happening at the surgery.

Hard copies are available in the practice reception area, so please feel free to pick one up during your next visit.

Keeping patients informed is a key priority for us, and the newsletter is just one of the many ways we’re working with our PPG to support the community we serve.

We are thrilled to announce that following our recent CQC inspection in September 2024, Billinge Medical Practice has achieved a rating of **Good in all areas!** 🎉

Over the past 12 months, our practice has undergone significant changes, including new partners, managers, and recruitment of a permanent salaried clinical team. We have also recruited additional administrative staff to better serve our patients.

📣 Exciting News from Billinge Medical Practice

We are thrilled to announce that our recent CQC inspection results have returned an overall rating of "Good"! This is a fantastic achievement for us, with all areas receiving a "Good" rating:

✅ Safe
✅ Effective
✅ Caring
✅ Responsive
✅ Well-led

Since the change in partnership in December 2023, Billinge Medical Practice has undergone significant transformations. We have welcomed a complete change in management and partners, recruited an experienced clinical team, and appointed a dedicated practice manager, along with support from a business manager to enhance our governance structure.

Our incredible staff have worked tirelessly to support the practice through these necessary changes, demonstrating exceptional resilience over the past 12 months.
We are also immensely grateful for the ongoing support from our Patient Participation Group (PPG) and are delighted by their commitment to our partners and the wider team.

We are overjoyed with the outcome of the CQC inspection, and the full report will be made available soon for all our patients to read.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that we are preparing to become a training practice and will be welcoming students to join us in providing high-quality care.
