***Teaching Opportunity***
Hi everyone! Thank you very much for the support so far. We have exciting things coming, which we will let you all in on very soon, but for now, we would like to ask for your teaching availability in January! 🤓🩺
*What does the teaching involve?*
(There will be more details in subsequent posts, and all our members will be trained fully to prepare for the sessions, but here's a brief summary.) Delivering sessions to Keystage 4 & 5 (GCSEs - Sixth Form) students in schools across the North East in pairs or small groups covering the following topics:
- Contraception (including the different methods, their efficacy, and emergency contraception)
- Abortion and pregnancy decision making
- Where to get help
- Answering questions
We have at least 125 students to teach in January, and we know that January is always a busy time for medics, and we would like to try and accommodate as many people as possible. We will, of course, have other sessions and events both before and after January, but with exams looming over a lot of us, sessions in that month will just require more careful scheduling, hence why we're asking now!
