It’s depressing when you get a BIG injury. ⁣



𝗪𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐩, 𝐨𝐤 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐠𝐮𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭. ⁣


I thought that was it, ⁣


When will I climb again, how will I wrestle my son when I’m 90?⁣


𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞?⁣


Lying in bed im my cast, boot after the surgeon says⁣


“𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧” ⁣


That hits your soul for someone who has been into sport/exercise since age 11. ⁣

I had a decision to make.⁣


𝐈 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐲𝐦 ⁣

Or ⁣

𝐈 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐭.⁣

My brain was at war with itself. ⁣


Stay in bed and doomscroll or get up and move something. ⁣

15 lbs heavier ⁣

I hobbled into my gym. ⁣

Sliding down my stairs on my bum. ⁣

Once in the gym I lost track of time. ⁣

Things started to flow. I moved the other 3 limbs. ⁣


I shed some tears after that. ⁣


For me being an Energised Entrepreneur who is the CEO of my body, ⁣

N𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧⁣

This is huge for me. ⁣

So It’s mantra for clients and how I coach. ⁣

“Do what you can with what you have” ⁣

Results happen WAAAAY faster with that mindset. ⁣

The best bit.⁣

My 90 year old self will kick my son ass - Lovingly. ⁣

When I was weighing in at a 17 stone. ⁣

After another failed diet attempt. ⁣


🤮I'd made myself sick drinking coconut oil in ⁣

my coffee. ⁣

Yuck. ⁣


I was like why can't I make this work?⁣


Despite having all of the qualifications. ⁣


So I went back to the books to geek out on metabolism. ⁣


It said "Metabolism is the conversion of food to energy or storage"⁣


So I asked myself, what is it I'm not doing? ⁣


I wasn't tracking my food intake. ⁣


There was a deeper reveal though. ⁣


💣𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱'𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝘁. ⁣



Where else was that showing up in my life. ⁣


I could track how many episodes of Supernatrual I'd watched. ⁣


So I started to track my food. ⁣

The weight came off smoothly. ⁣



I was even eating 2 takeaways a week and ⁣

the weight came off. ⁣


𝗠𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺.⁣


Because the thing you're not tracking is often the thing ⁣

we run away from. ⁣


💡I've seen clients have a light bulb moments when we discuss⁣

what they measure in their lives. ⁣


Of course they are many things we measure ⁣

in the Millon Dollar Body Method. ⁣

over the last 20 years in health

there's one thing that upsets me.

When women are pushed into doing certain things

for their health that's cookie cutter.

I work with talented women.

Who have amazing individual skills and personalities

Yet we try to push one way of implementation on women's health.

eg

❌ You must do fasting

✅ Love having breakfast with the family we can do that

❌ You must be in the gym 5 times a week

✅ You got 20mins 3 x a week? I got you

❌You must skip this food

✅ How can we include this food you love and get awesome results.

The goal of a coach is to make the result as easy as possible.

For the individual.

What should I be eating?

Great question,

But often it leads to not being able to stick to your diet.

Instead I will ask you this

What are you eating now?

This does two things

How to stop overeating at night

You want to have the body that you want to show off
You want the energy that makes your working day feel like a breeze
You want to stop eating chocolate every time you put Netflix on

Here’s how I would solve the problem.

Most of the women I work with are hard workers
Focused on growing their biz or careers

So what happens is

❌ You skip breakfast

❌ Your plate looks allergic to protein

❌ Your eyes are gorilla glued to your laptop

❌ The word break sounds like a foreign language

75 hard - my thoughts

Exercise daily for 1.5hrs
( 1 session must be outside)

Follow a diet of your choosing

Drink 4 litres of water

Read a self dev- book 10mins a day

Facebook group & a book for support.

Repeat for 75 days if you fail you start again.

Do you think it will work?

Of course.

Most of my clients come to me having tried something very similar before.

That’s all I need to know.

One of my clients came to me with this exact line.

I said

“Nobody falls off the wagon you jumped”

When I’m in conversations with clients this boils down to this.

It’s majoring in the minor

Here’s what I mean

🫣Looking for “new recipes”

🫣Setting Overly high expectations

🫣Giving up carbs

🫣Thinking their metabolism needs to go to the metabolism mechanic

🫣Trying to find the perfect workout

What’s going on is that you’re overwhelmed in another area of life.

So you go into a freeze state.

The Skill is seeing it and knowing how to move back to calm.

It’s about seeing what’s the next logical step.

For that, you need space to talk about what’s causing the freeze.

We find the Major things that get you riding the wagon.

You fall off it less & less.

Before you know it.
