✨Plot twist!✨
Turns out I was nominated (for the second time, no less) for the Frank Foley Award for Community Spirit at this year’s Mayor’s Ball & Civic Awards…

No speech, no sequins, not even a sausage roll – just me, finding out after the fact with a very posh certificate and a lot of surprise! 😂

Seriously though, I’m incredibly touched to be nominated again. Whoever put my name forward – thank you. I might not have made it to the ball, but this still means the world. 💛

Next time, someone give me a heads up, yeah? I clean up alright when needed. 😉

Business owner me hung the pristine white washing with pride... Mum me forgot the garden is also a splash zone run by small feral lifeguards. It’s less ‘work-life balance’ and more ‘work-life battlefield.

And yes that is their school clothes just chucked on the floor as they bounced into the paddling pool 😂
