Landing from an incredible few days with with such respect and care, tredding lightly as we could with all of the living beings
The land is brimming with life, from the many frogs hopping about, hedgerows are brimming with pollinators, the lake home to beavers.

Here's a few captured pics of a impromptu pine harvest for pain relieving balms and a few of a herb immersion workshop I shared.

Huge thanks and gratitude to Tasha of the who weaved all of us together at the Emerging Earth Gathering, the embers have been ignited and there's more to come.

I feel deeply humbled and inspired by the souls I've met, the nourishing food we shared, the songs we sang, the laughter and tears that came, the poems shared, the breath that slowed, the heart tending that was witnessed with kindness.

We witnessed the pain and suffering we know is present in our world, navigating strength, hope, and connection with some incredible souls with compassion, curiosity, and deep reciprocity to the land. There's much more to come, but for now, I'm deep listening.
Thank you x

Why do I lead short courses and workshops?

This is how I first got interested in herbalism. I came with many questions about my own health. I got inspiration. I got support. I felt seen. I got some answers. They shaped where I am today.

I love sharing this ancient knowledge. We have always worked with plants since the beginning! This work honours that lineage.

The workshops are designed to be applied practically afterwards. With all the information you need to start or deepen your herbal learning.

I have a few exciting new course offerings coming up this summer and autumn. Herbs for Menstrual Health is back by popular demand, 2 spots left this Sunday 27th April, 10-4pm

It was an absolute pleasure to represent the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH)
at Jekka Herb Days last week 🌿

There were an incredible 125 of you (give or take a few) that joined my walk around the herbaretum on each of the days 🤗

Apart from making me feel like the herbal pied piper, it was wonderful to see so much interest healing plants and how to use them 💓

Thanks for having me and , and of course, everyone who joined the walk! 🙏

Hi folks.

A little bit about me...

On paper, I'm a herbalist, facilitator, and massage therapist. I've followed a very unlinear career path but collected enough certificates to wallpaper a room, so a friend tells me. I love learning. If I think about it, all the studies I've done have been heart-led. I struggle to motivate myself to do things unless I feel passionate about it.

I manage endometriosis, was finally diagnosed in 2021, but had even been dealing with debilitating symptoms since my late 20s. Holding down an FT job for an employer has proved challenging as there is ALWAYS an element of unpredictability to this condition, however hard I try. I still need to block out 2 days every month to literally, where feasible possible: to just rest. If you think that sounds difficult. It is.

Over the years, I've had to take an enormous amount of sick leave, mostly unpaid due to this chronic condition. I am not sharing to win your sympathy vote. It's just the reality of 10s of 1000s of people managing chronic health.

A decade later, I've got a pretty comprehensive toolkit of things that hugely helped minimise symptoms. A non-negotiable for me is my tens machine, my pain tincture mix and a lot of dark chocolate on hand. Yes, herbs have and continue to make a big impact. As does following a diet that doesnt cause inflammation (I still eat the wrong foods occasionally and sometimes pay the price with more pms/pain).

BUT the thing for me that's been the biggesy game changer is taking rest. This means taking responsibility for implementing that rest when I need it. If that sounds difficult, it is. I don't always succeed, and I make mistakes.

Training with the as Menstruality Mentor has deepened this ongoing work, practicing menstrual cycle awareness, and greatly underpins how I work with my clients.

In short. I do what I do because I'm passionate about being part of the growing and necessary conversation around hormone health. I specialise in the female reproductive system. In reality, I work with a wide range of people from all walks of life. I love what I do.
