👋🏼 Hello to a smaller Thursday Wellbeing Walking group (which isn’t surprising given the weather... ☔️)
They walked to Castledykes and sat in the wooden hut for a short rest, shelter and blether then walked back through Dock Park.

Walk leader Julie told us “I really enjoy supporting this group when I can. I had a lovely chat with a couple of the walkers and heard just how much they get from the group- which was lovely to hear.”

🩰 BEDSIDE BALLET COMES TO LOCKERBIE 🩰 You may recall our staff recently undertook ‘Bedside Ballet’ training - short gentle ballet routines for anyone with reduced mobility.

Our Gentle Movement instructor Christine told us that she had had a special guest join her class last week - her granddaughter Blair Bell, who is a ballerina with the Dance School of Scotland.

Blair beautifully demonstrated Bedside Ballet and then treated the ladies to a little demo of her tap dancing too.

We think you will agree Blair is so graceful and calming. No wonder everyone left feeling so relaxed!! The door is always open if you fancy coming back, Blair. Thank you 🩰

Christine’s Gentle Movement class takes place at Dryfesdale Church Hall on Fridays at 1.30pm, however due to an Autumn Coffee Afternoon in the hall this week there will be no class - back as normal next week.

👋🏼 Hello to our Wellbeing Walkers from last Thursday. They met at Halfords instead of their usual Dock Park due to Fair being in town. This was also ‘cuppa week’ so they all congregated at greensdumfries afterwards. Huge thanks to our NHS colleagues (and students) for helping lead the walk this week 👏🏻
