I offer a home acupuncture service for a wide range of medical problems. First of all though there will be a thorough asessment utilising my 21+ years experience as a qualified medical doctor.
Typical complaints considered include:
* muscle pain including back pain & sports injuries
* migraine and tension headaches
* chronic pain syndromes
* hayfever
* anxiety, low mood and stress
Plus many more based on the available evidence.
I am a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society and a practicing GP in the Wakefield area. As such I am subject to rigorous annual appraisal and 5 yearly revalidation.
A course of treatment would usually comprise an hour long initial assessment (£60) and then 5-7 additional weekly sessions lasting 30 mins (£40 each). But there is no commitment to a set number of sessions and if I don't think I can help you or if your symptoms warrant urgent medical attention then I will advise you of a more suitable course of action.
