👉🏻Move it or lose it, this is so true. 👇
Something else that we must learn to understand, if we want to move in the ranges we were designed to, is that the deep tissue of the joint capsule, is the first place that our nervous system receives information from when we move.
Before the tendons, muscle, fascia etc, our joints are doing the talking first.
🦵So we talk about our hamstrings, quads, glutes and all the other stuff… we can’t deal with that stuff if we haven’t dealt with the joints first. Yoga does a great job of bringing awareness to the body which is great when it comes to our mobility training. However, the position your joint is in, is sending signals to your brain and back n forth, this is informing your proprioception in the yoga poses you are doing.
💡We gotta look at the body from the inside out.💡
💥This is why I created the practice move it or lose it. Tuesday evenings 6pm
😊In this practice we not only focus on building strength around the joints, we work in the range of motion you have, we carve out new range, we build stability and control, we create changes that will last a lifetime, we build neurological pathways so our bodies will always remember and revert to a safe and functional movement pattern.
The second half of the practice is a careful crafted sequence, a flow designed to give you the opportunity to use your new found strength and coordination.
✨Mobility training, takes time, it isn’t pretty, it’s hard and it requires patience.
If you want to make your joints, the foundations of everything else that you do, a priority then join us.
See you there.
