Season’s greetings from all of us at Lifeline Medical Services.
We wish everyone celebrating a safe, peaceful Christmas and a happy New Year.

24/12/2025

This week we've responded to several short notice requests from local NHS Trusts to support patient discharges, ensuring they are home in time for Christmas. We're thanking the flexibility of our staff and their responsiveness at short notice to enable this work to take place. Mobilising with just a couple of hours notice is how we continue to support local services when they are under pressure and provide repatriation services alongside our event work.

14/12/2025

Hanukkah begins on the evening of Sunday 14 December and ends at sundown on Monday 22 December.

Wishing a happy and peaceful Hanukkah to all who celebrate.

May this season of light bring comfort, hope, and connection to you and your loved ones.

From all of us at Lifeline Medical Services.

Lifeline Medical Services is proud to be the only CQC registered private event medical company with operational bases in Cumbria.

Choosing a CQC registered provider means choosing quality, safety, and clinical governance that meet national healthcare standards. Our registration ensures our training, equipment, medicines management and patient care pathways are independently regulated, giving event organisers complete confidence in the care delivered on-site.

🚨 Without CQC regulation, an event medical provider cannot legally transport patients in an ambulance. Choosing an unregulated provider puts both event organisers and patients at risk of breaching the law.

What sets us apart?
🔹 Local Teams, Local Knowledge: Our clinicians live and work in Cumbria, bringing unmatched experience of the fells, forests and challenging rural terrain.
🔹 Outdoor & Off-Road Expertise: Perfect for trail runs, OCR events, ultras, fell races MTB events and other events off the beaten track.
🔹 Highly Skilled Staff: Including advanced responders, paramedics, off-road drivers, swift water rescue technicians, mountain rescue personnel and clinicians trained in prolonged care and trauma management.
🔹 Fully Equipped Vehicles: Including 4x4 'sn**ch' vehicles and ALS-capable ambulances suited to rugged environments.
🔹 Strong Local Partnerships & Fast Response: We know the area, the access routes and the emergency services structure inside out.

Whether you're organising a sporting event, festival, community gathering or remote endurance challenge, Lifeline Medical Services brings regulated, professional, local care you can trust.

The 1st of December marks World AIDS Day.
Today we stand with people living with HIV, remember those we’ve lost to AIDS, challenge stigma, and commit to compassionate, inclusive care for everyone. Every patient. Every time.

Modern treatment means people living with HIV can live long, healthy lives, and those on effective medication cannot pass the virus on. But there is still work to be done, from challenging misconceptions to supporting early testing and ensuring no one is left behind.

As healthcare workers, we can help break down stigma, provide safe and confident care, and recognise the progress that’s been made in testing, prevention, and treatment. World AIDS Day is not only a moment of remembrance, but a chance to learn, reflect, and recommit to compassionate practice.
