My son graded with an A yesterday!! He demonstrated good technique and fighting skills. He is a great fighter, however, this is not what makes me so proud of him....
I am proud of the fact that although this boy can handle himself, when confronted, he is never the one to throw the first punch.
He regularly demonstrates the values of being a true martial artist, which is not just about the number of belts or competitions you win, but is also about showing restraint.
Real strength comes from having self control and the discipline to walk away from confrontation. His actions brings to mind this promise: "Karate is my secret. I bear no weapons. I pray I shall never have to use it.”
Thankyou to the Team at Inspired Martial Arts MK and Sensei Graham Bentham for moulding this boy into a young man and teaching him how to be a good role model.
Well done Jaiden, I wish more youths of today follow these principles, to shape a better society for tomorrow.
