Horses don't speak English, they speak energy and body language. This is what makes them experts at revealing patterns of behaviour or limiting beliefs in people. They 'read' your non verbal communication and respond to it. Having a session with the horses can offer deep personal growth and the development of life skills.

It's incredibly calming sitting quietly beside a resting horse. A horse's heart is 10 times larger than ours which means they have a significantly larger and stronger electromagnetic field. The quiet power of the herd.

There’s something profound that happens when we step into the field with horses.

They mirror the parts of us we’ve forgotten, help us hear the wisdom beneath the noise, and gently show us how to lead from a place of inner alignment.

The mare—the female leader of the herd—leads not through dominance, but through presence.
Through intuition.
Through calm authority.

And this is one of the reasons I’m so passionate about equine-facilitated work.

Because it awakens this same energy within us.
A more compassionate, grounded, and kind way of living, leading, and relating to ourselves.

TAKING LIFE ONE STEP AT A TIME.
Watching my horses graze this morning reminded me to slow down and take life one step at a time. Horses don't worry about the future or ruminate on the past, they simple stay in the present moment and move with the flow of life. There are times when we need to plan ahead, yes, but we don't need to stay in the future with our mind, or get stuck in the past over analysing something. There's a beautiful freedom in being present to each moment. It's the place that synchonicity happens. By going too fast, or not being present to the moment, we can miss opportunities, useful connections, and serendipitous encounters. Try it, slow down, be more tortoise than hare, and see what happens.
