Let’s clear a few things up regarding the new regulations and what it means for you as clients and students of
MyClinicConsultant
As I am a prescriber no changes have been made to your appointments, if you come to me for anti wrinkle, vitamin injections or if we have dissolved.
Any students, you can message me directly regarding prescribing services if you haven’t heard from me already.
As an educator I will always ensure support ongoing through your career, if you’d like any further details then please message, I am here to help.
And here’s a few key points that I think need clearing up:
• All prescription only medication (POM) must be prescribed face to face by a prescriber in advance of your treatments. This includes Botox/Filler Dissolving/Vitamin injections.
• No medical professional should be prescribing cosmetic treatments remotely (this includes Drs/Dentists and Pharmacists).
• Emergency kits are still being debated and further clarification will be posted once confirmed.
• The prescriber holds the full accountability for cosmetic treatments and so do not be offended if you are asked to prove your competency or asked for a premises check.
