Free menopause support group starting in Halesworth at The Holistic Health Hub in June.
If you're interested in meeting other women to find out more about the transition through menopause and discuss ways we can support ourselves please let me know.
If there is enough interest I will be hosting this free group on the first Tuesday of every month.

You've heard all the hype about gut health but don't know how to support your own. Start with just one thing: challenge yourself to eat one extra portion of vegetables each day.

Whether it's mushrooms with your breakfast, some sliced cucumber in a sandwich, quick pickled onion in your wrap (see picture and recipe on my website), or extra broccoli with dinner, it'll be an impactful change.

Many of us aren't eating enough fibre and find it hard to hit the 5-a-day recommended by the UK government. This means our digestive system isn't getting the fibre it needs to function well or to support a balanced microbiome.

Just one extra portion (around 80g or a fist-sized amount) of vegetables a day will make a difference. Once you form that new habit, you'll realise how easy and impactful these simple changes can be and want to make more.

Fibre and gut health influence blood glucose, cholesterol levels, hormonal levels, appetite and weight loss, immune function and mental wellbeing.
