Our Chorley Singing for the Brain group recently received a kind donation for some new percussion instruments. I've had the enjoyment of choosing them, ordering them and unpacking them so that they are ready for next week. Maracas, a cabasa, a wooden block, frog guiros, regular guiros ( otherwise known as scraper) and a couple of small frame drums. I look forward to giving them out next week 😁

I had the pleasure this morning of facilitating a Drum Circle at Pendle Brook Care Home, as part of their No Nay Never Forget Dementia Cafe with Burnley FC in the Community.

It was good to see the participants smiling, enjoying themselves and working well together. Some fine percussionists in the group as well. Really nice to see some photographs so thanks for sharing these :)
