I feel like this is one of those topics where everyone has an opinion but nobody really knows what everyone else is actually taking.
The supplement industry is enormous and honestly quite overwhelming. Walk into any health shop or scroll through Instagram for five minutes and youโll be convinced you need seventeen different powders, capsules and liquids just to function like a normal human being.
Iโll be honest, I used to be all in on supplementsโฆ and now Iโm pretty much the opposite.
Back in 2020 I was dealing with bad joint pain ( ) and taking all the usual recommendations โ glucosamine, chondroitin, turmeric capsules. Some days I *thought* they were helping, but it was never consistent. One day better, next day straight back to square one.
Thatโs what pushed me to actually look into the industry rather than just follow the crowdโฆ and what I found wasnโt great.

That was enough for me to rethink everything.

โ No fillers.
Thatโs when things actually changed.
My pain went from about a **9/10 down to a 2/10** fairly quickly.
Then I took it a step further and looked at what I was still eatingโฆ cut out the obvious inflammatory stuff like commercial chocolate and jelly sweets โ and thatโs when it dropped to **zero**.
That was the real lightbulb moment for me:
It wasnโt about adding more โmiracleโ products โ it was about **removing what was causing the problem and supporting the body with real food**.
So for me personally:
Supplements felt inconsistent and overhyped.
Whole foods + removing the is what actually worked.
