Here's some tips from us to keep you safe in the heat:

💦 Stay hydrated
👗 Dress appropriately
☀ Stay indoors where possible
🕶 Wear SPF, sunglasses and a hat
💊 Certain health conditions and medications such as blood pressure, diabetes medications and antidepressants can make you more prone to dehydration and overheating.

Many of our Rise participants were children at the time of the D-Day landings they seem to appreciate and enjoy their freedoms to the full. Such an honour to work with surviving D-Day Veterans and hear their experiences first-hand.

Great fun reminiscing and celebrating the Epsom Derby this week! Congratulations to all who had the City of Troy in our sweepstakes a brilliant winner who silenced any doubters! 🏇🏇🏇
We took time to reflect on Emily Davison, a suffragette who became the first martyr for votes for women. On Derby Day, 4 June 1913, Davison ran onto the Epsom racecourse to grab the bridle of King George V’s horse. Women won the right to vote in 1918 and there's a wonderful bronze statue of her in Epsom town centre.
