For people struggling with …. people:
When you’ve experienced disappointment, indifference, and even cruelty from people you once trusted, it’s natural to feel like withdrawing altogether. It’s exhausting to keep opening up and finding that people aren’t who you hoped they were.
Maybe it’s not that you don’t like people, but that you’re tired of the wrong ones—the superficial, the selfish, the ones who take but don’t give.
And maybe right now, the safest, kindest thing you can do for yourself is to step back, focus on your own well-being, and let the right people come into your life when you’re ready.
You don’t have to like people right now.
You just have to like you.
And from there, in time, you might find yourself drawn to the rare, deeper connections that do exist.
But there’s no rush.
Keep focusing on good things for you.
