Winsford Community Partnership The reasons behind this are many but we face different problems today than in the past.

Winsford Community Partnership is a collaboration between local residents, organisations, and services working together to create positive, lasting change, particularly in areas like health, promoting healthier lifestyles and improving access to services. Winsford Care Community includes the local GP network, the wider primary care team, Social Care, Public Health, Education, Town Planners, Local E

mployers, Third Sector, Local Sports Groups, Parish Councils and of course the Community itself. The idea of the Care Community is to arrange care, interventions and provide innovative health solutions in partnership with the local community that suit the needs of a whole population and takes the views of all these stakeholders into account. An ageing population and increasingly complex care needs mean that single entities and indeed healthcare teams alone cannot solve all the problems we face. We will work in partnership to deliver not only a Care Community but a community that cares.

Mentell is proud to stand with veterans from all walks of life, and with recent funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust we have an opportunity to give back to those who have given so much.

Working in partnership with Cheshire East Council and the Armed Forces Community HQ CIC, the team behind Mentell has created a volunteer-led training program that seeks to utilise the life experience and skills that Veterans have for the purpose of helping other men talk.

We would love to share this project with as many veterans as possible, and this is a call to action for any organisation operating in the North West - can we come and talk to your veteran community about the opportunity?

ℹ️ 27 community sector organisations across the region worked with almost 500 neurodivergent CYPF on the initial engagement, with several organisations helping create a video and other resources to introduce the pathway.

Did you know about Cheshire West Wellbeing Walks?
Their walks are free, fun and friendly, helping people get some gentle exercise, explore their local area and meet new people. All walks are led by trained walk leaders from a partnership of organisations and volunteers who have come together to form a
network of short walks across the borough.
Winsford Walk is every Tuesday starting at 10am meeting at Winsford Library, and lasts around 60 minutes. The group do go for optional refreshments after the walk at a local café in the Town Centre. Pop down on Tuesday mornings and join in 🚶‍♂️
