What a fantastic day we have all had, our day started with colouring and painting pictures of Pearly King and Queens, then the main event the Pearly Queen came to entertain us all. We enjoyed Tea/coffee, little sandwiches, cakes and shortbread. Cakes and Shortbread courtesy of our volunteers Christine and Roger. All the residents thoroughly enjoyed their day

☀️ Summer Fete Fun is HERE! ☀️ Come on down and join us today from 2 PM - 4:30 PM for an afternoon packed with entertainment! We've got:
* Live music from singer Laura! 🎤
* Tombola & amazing raffle prizes to be won! 🎁
* Classic games like Hoopla, Skittles, and Tin Can Alley!
* Plus, a chance to soak a volunteer staff member with a wet sponge! 😂
* Fuel up with hotdogs, ice lollies, and delicious treats from our cake stall! 🌭🍦🍰

We had a cocktail and pamper afternoon as it was national Hawaii day all the ladies and gentlemen got to enjoy a cocktail of their choice with Hawaii music, they had lots of fun too.

We had a lovely week doing Art for one of are activities this was created using PVA glue salt and paint it called salt painting and the residents got to enjoy using different materials for Art and I think they all done so very beautiful artwork to display on our art board and noticeboard

What a wonderful V E Day party we have had today .
All the residents enjoyed listening to Evie a lady who came to sing all the old war time songs and had various costume changes.
Everyone enjoyed a big party in the afternoon with lots of tasty food all supplied and cooked by our lovely volunteers Christine and Roger whom we cannot Thank enough for helping us make this V E Day party special for all our residents and for the dedication and time you both give us xx🥰💯👌🩷

We had a very busy fun week of activities at St Peter’s care Home, We saw the arrival of our chick eggs that arrived on Monday and so far we have 5 baby chicks that have hatched and we had a very interesting talk and quiz on chickens .
We also did some lovely cooking with Christine and Roger our wonderful volunteers who give up alot of their own time, for the love for our residents, We are so very grateful to you both xx
We had a visit from a Oompa Loompa who come from Wonka land to deliver easter eggs to all pur wonderful residents, what a fun week for us all
