📣 Due to flood damage, the Breast Screening unit at The Merchant will unfortunately be out of action for the foreseeable future whilst repairs are made. If you have an upcoming appointment at The Merchant, please do not attend. You will be contacted with a new appointment to attend at Derriford Hospital. Alternatively, you can telephone the screening office on 01752 431652 to rearrange.

Those eligible for breast screening registered with Stratton Medical Centre are now being invited for a mammogram.

Our mobile unit will be situated in the Crescent Car Park.

There are lots of reasons why breast screening may be missed, but it's never too late to rebook this vital service that could save your life. 🩷

Your local breast screening team are here to help if you have any concerns, questions or difficulties attending your breast screening. Please call our friendly team and ask to speak to a breast screening nurse, who will try and support your needs 👩‍⚕️

We are currently inviting those registered with GP practices in the following areas:

Launceston, Lifton, Plymouth City Centre, Devonport, and will be heading to Southway, Whitleigh, Estover, and Bude shortly after.

The Breast Cancer Screening Team came to our drop-in this week 💚

Really grateful they took the time to visit us. Having these services come directly to where women already feel comfortable makes such a difference.

We know that women who've faced multiple disadvantage often miss out on routine health checks - whether that's because of past experiences with services, transport costs, or just not feeling like these spaces are for them.

Small steps like this help close that gap.

Those eligible for breast screening, registered with Armada Surgery, Pathfields Medical Group, are now due for a routine mammogram.

Look out for your appointment in the post and remember, a mammogram can detect small cancers before they are seen or felt, having a mammogram could save your life, and it only takes a few minutes. 🩷🎀
