Summer 2024 seems to have flown by, I can’t quite believe autumn and the new academic term is already here. There’s a definite back-to-school vibe in the air here in the UK.

Time for tea!

There are many teas and infusions for easing menopausal and perimenopausal symptoms. A tea is a small amount of dried or fresh herb brewed for a short time. An infusion is a large amount of a dried herb brewed for a long time.

My current go-to brew is nettle tea. Nourishing and energising for the body, nettles have many benefits including:

🫒Reducing fatigue as they contain iron, chlorophyll and copper
🫒Nettles are high in B vitamins, which can be depleted by hot flushes - B vits are good for low moods
🫒Stabilising blood sugar levels as they are rich in manganese and chromium
🫒Soothing for the bladder, eases cystitis

Use fresh leaves or organic dried nettle tea, 2-3 cups daily
