We had a lovely walk down Sandwell Valley earlier this morning before it gets to hot for the dogs to be out. Hive of activity with a Park Run taking place. I'm full of admiration for those taking part !

‘Thank you to the girl on the left who made the decision that it was time to take action and get back in control of her life.’

Bethany (bethwragg_shield on Instagram) has lost 6st 4lbs (39.9kg) and has been at target now for more than seven months 🙌! As someone who spent their 20s and 30s struggling to walk upstairs without getting out of breath, Bethany’s now found a new lease of life and loves that she’s going into her 40s spending her Sundays going for bike rides 🚴🏻.

We had a wonderful time on Thursday morning celebrating these amazing people who have maintained their Personal Achievement Targets for at more than a year ❤️
Two more members reached their targets on Thursday with a combined loss of over 7 stone. Wonderful!!

With this week's news that weight loss injections will soon be available on the NHS, I want to reassure you that our Slimming World groups are still proudly here and ready to support you every step of the way.

This medication is being recognised for its ability to help some people kick-start their weight loss journey—but it’s important to know that it's not a magic fix. GPs will be looking for patients to commit to what's known as WRAP AROUND support—and that’s where my Slimming World group comes in.

WRAP AROUND support means more than just taking medication. It’s about making REAL lifestyle changes: building healthier habits, shifting your mindset, enjoying satisfying food, and creating a routine that helps you feel good—both physically and emotionally. It’s about sustainable results that last far beyond the prescription.

If your GP offers injections as part of your health plan, know that you don’t have to do it alone. Our friendly, welcoming Slimming World community is here for you. With my guidance and the support of our amazing members, we’ll help you feel in control, confident, and empowered on your journey to better health.

Why wait? Come along to my group and take the first step in building your own wrap-around support network. That way, when you talk to your GP, you can proudly say: “I’ve already started making changes.” 💪💙

Well where shall I start to tell you about this morning's Slimming World group ?? We had new members, returning members, folks back from holidays and recovering from operations, brand new Target members ( they've lost 9 1/2 stone between them !) , our amazing Diamond Target celebrations, delicious tasters, loads of sharing, support and inspiration. What an amazing group we have!!
