Hermitage House Care Home At Hermitage House we care for up to 67 older people with residential and dementia care needs

Hermitage House Care Home in Thrapston provides long-term and short-stay respite residential and dementia care. Located in the heart of Thrapston, the care home has good connections with the local community. The sixty-seven-bed home has been purpose-built and features an inviting lounge and dining areas, a pub, an entertainment suite, a private dining room, and a hair and pamper salon. Residents enjoy daily fine dining with a choice of healthy and nutritious meals.

We were honoured to grant a heartfelt wish for our resident Diana to have a VIP style photoshoot with her lovely family. They enjoyed prosecco on arrival, a fun photoshoot and a family afternoon tea to end the occasion. 📸🥂🍰

Nails 💅 and Hair day 😍

What better way to spend Wednesday morning in our salon being pampered by our hairdressers, then enjoying a hand massage and nails by Maggie.

Some ladies brought down there knitting 🪡 and we had a good Gossip 😌💇‍♀️

Our all inclusive private packages mean that weekly hairdressing, chiropody is all free. We also include our bus trip outtings and newspapers of choice also! 📰

Collaborating with Thrapston community is so important to us.🥰
Thrapston Primary School and Hermitage House Care Home asked Residents and pupils how they could join together. Pen pal's seemed like a lovely way to connect on a more personal level🖊

We now have 11 lovely letters to go out to volunteer pupils from year 5 &6 !

We cannot wait to deliver these to Thrapson school and await a reply ✉️📬
