Mindfulness Yoga resumes on Sunday 23rd February, for 6 consecutive weeks, ending 29th March

Ide Hill Village Hall, Ide Hill, Sevenoaks, TN14 6JG

6.30pm to 8pm

This gentle and powerful class is suitable for anyone who wishes to cultivate Mindfulness through gentle Hatha Yoga Postures. The postures are simple and practiced slowly to support deepening somatic awareness. Suitable for all levels of physical ability. Class ends with Body Scan in a supported posture to facilitate deep relaxation and letting go.

Bring a Yoga mat if you have one (there are some to borrow in class) blanket and cushion and wear comfortable loose fitting clothes and warm socks.

Come along for a taster session £5.

Thereafter pay as you go £10 a session

What a pleasure and a privilege it was to spend four days with a wonderful group of women at High Heathercombe, Dartmoor Last Thursday, we unplugged from the outside world and turned our attention to present moment experience through mindfulness meditation.
On Saturday, as we practised in silence, a wild storm blew horizontal rain across the valley, buffeting our meditation hall, perched high on the hill. We emerged, more awake and aware to behold the beauty of crisp, calm, sunny autumn day.
Thank you all for your practice and great company. A special thanks to Nicky for the delicious food and beautiful sound baths and music ❤️

Warm memories of our last Mindfulness Yoga retreat at Bala Brook and looking forward to returning to Dartmoor soon for another immersion into mindfulness

Here is High Heathercombe in Dartmoor. A space for retreat, rest, learning, connection, healing and growth. I am glad to have the opportunity to hold space for an Embodied Mindfulness Retreat for Women 24th to 28th October.

There will be a maximum of 10 participants. Together we will practice stepping out of busy doing mode of mind, waking up gently to present moment experience through connection with the body. Practicing mindful yoga, walking, sitting and lying down, seeing and hearing meditations.

Nicky Williams is supporting the retreat as cook and offering wonderful immersive sound bath meditations and guided sound expression sessions. To find out more about Nicky's work visit www.nicolawilliamsguitar.com

In this nourishing space we will be protected from the constant bombardment of social media, emails and demands of work and caring for others.

Part of the retreat will be held in silence. Letting go of the effort for social interaction, supports a deeper connection with one's inner experience. Being held in silence, we can come to see more clearly our True Nature. We will also have space to share experience through group inquiry and explore the wild beauty of Dartmoor. There are a few places still available. It is suitable for people who have completed an 8-week Mindfulness Based course, or equivalent Meditation /Yoga experience. Message me for more information. Cost £280 includes 4 nights accommodation in shared room (maximum 3 per room) and 3 nourishing vegetarian meals a day.
