Emotional is a natural & beautiful response.

This client was ready and committed to changing her eating behaviours, but still carried ALOT of self-doubt.

Despite ticking all the health & fitness boxes, Lisa was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour two years ago.

What started with fear, disbelief, and denial moved into a different journey. One of listening to herself more, being truly authentic, meeting her needs, being more vulnerable, and building deeper connections with those she loved.

Why do we feel so good when we stick to healthy habits? Some habits feel good immediately after (sleep, water, exercise endorphins). But why does it truly feel so good?

When we say we are going to do something and don't do it, we erode trust in ourselves. When we follow through, we trust ourselves that bit more and become more confident.

So it's super important to

1. Pick an approach that works for you. If you are trying to do too much, there is a high chance of not being able to complete what you want. You don't want lots and lots of opportunities to erode self-trust.

2. Be honest with yourself - doom scrolling? Helping an elderly relative with food shopping? Saying yes when you want to say no?

3. Speak to yourself with encouragement. Be curious, not judgemental. What could you put in place to avoid it happening again? What is the next best thing you could do?
