With permission from Brian’s family please see funeral arrangements:

A celebration of Brian’s life will take place on Wednesday 17th September at St Margaret’s Church, Waterloo Road, Cardiff, 1.15pm followed by committal at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel, 2.30pm.

Family have requested no flowers please but donations can be made in Brian’s memory to Asthma & Lung UK. Donations can be made via their website www.asthmaandlung.org.uk or at the funeral service.

Thank you Bagpiper in South Wales John Campbell, as always you create such a special memory for families. Amazing 🤍

Funeral Bagpiping today at and Cemetery. The service was for an (Argyll & Bute, Scotland) born lady.

On the cortege's approach, I led to the chapel with "My Home" & "The Mist Covered Mountains".

Following the service, I led mourners to the graveside playing; "Flower of Scotland" & "Flowers of the Forest" Whilst the coffin was carried to the graveside, I played "The Ladies of the Alamo".

After the interment, I played "Queen Elizabeth II Salute" (Urlar Only), "Mull of Kintyre" & concluding with "Flower of Scotland".

Mark Atkinson sadly passed away on 1st March at UHW hospital aged 62 with Melissa by his side 🤍
Mark will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Mark’s life will take place on Friday 11th April at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel at 12.30pm.
Please wear a traditional black with a splash of colour in Mark’s memory 💙
