Public Health Wiltshire Public Health Wiltshire offer support & guidance to help maintain good health & mental wellbeing Working closely with the UKHSA (formerly PHE).

Wiltshire Public Health team work with partners to provide services to help the people of the county live their best life. These services range from pregnancy through to the older generation. They include, but are not limited to:

• Pregnancy, breastfeeding and early parenthood

• Healthy Me – healthy lifestyle programme for children aged 7-11 and their families, who may be less active than recommended and above their healthy weight range.

• Health Improvement Coaches – one-to-one support for six one-hour sessions to assist you to set achievable goals and provide support to improve health and mental wellbeing.

• Healthy Us – Group Weight management – a free 12 week course supporting adults to lose weight and maintain their weight loss.

• Mental Health & Wellbeing

• Sexual Health - including the No Worries! a young people's sexual health and contraception service for Wiltshire residents aged 13-24 year olds. The confidential service is available at participating venues across Wiltshire.

• Infection Prevention & Control

• Screening Programmes - we work to improve awareness of national screening programmes by promoting the importance of going to screenings and by providing advice and guidance to the general public and practice staff.

• Smokefree Wiltshire - Our trained stop smoking advisors offer friendly, non-judgemental advice and support. The advisors can give you tips and information while working with you to beat your cravings and change your smoking habits.

• Drug & Alcohol Misuse - Providing high quality specialist services that are easily accessed by the people who really need it is vital in reducing the health and social impacts of drug and alcohol misuse.

• Infectious Disease outbreak management - Supporting the public, educational settings, adult social care and businesses of Wiltshire.
