🎉 Big News: My Practice is Growing! 🚀

Exciting changes ahead! After years of working as a solo therapist, I’m taking a huge step forward... and I couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce VIVA Therapy! 🎉💙💚💖

This new chapter means:

Today is classed as Blue Monday, largely based on the 57 cold and dark days that make up January, and leveraged by social media folk to talk about mental health, which is a good thing perhaps, but let's not lose sight of that face that it was brought about by a travel agency as a marketing device in 2005, so tread carefully with it!

That said, and in case it is a blue day for you, I encourage you to look after yourself, take rest where you can today, to make some time to reflect and check in on what you're feeling and get curious about why.

Every client I have ever worked with has struggled with this in the beginning. It's so automatic for us to beat ourselves up, to criticise and tell ourselves we're useless, stupid, and worse.

It actually takes practice to change the script here.

But being compassionate towards yourself is a great step towards healing.

What could you try and tell yourself today? And if you can't think of anything, what would you say to someone you care about? And then say that to yourself 🩷

Counselling

Having experienced counselling for the first time myself 30 years ago, and feeling the huge benefits it has brought to me, I finally got around to retraining in 2016 and I’m now a counsellor myself.

I provide online counselling and psychotherapy for children, young people and adults and help them through the pain of loss and with their personal relationships.
