Join us this Saturday for an exciting kid's yoga session

In our under 5's class, we will be meeting some sleepy animals and learning to stretch, breath, move & snuggle down with some of our favourite animals. 🐈🐕🐀🐰

In our 6 years + session we will be inspired by Valentines day, exploring partner poses, kindness to ourselves & others and practicing a heart shaped breath. 💕💘

I'm excited to welcome your children to our monthly yoga sessions

January kicks off with a journey into a winter yoga garden, where we'll meet and explore animal & nature through poses, playful breathing & mindfulness games.

Our classes are vibrant & engaging, filled with props, movement & a guided relaxation. Children will learn to connect with their emotions & bodies, promoting overall wellbeing & self awareness.

Did you know that yoga is a great way for your child to release energy, connect with their body & breath and find (screen free ways) to rest & relax?

Our playful, halloween inspired yoga workshop, will allow your child to explore some classic yoga poses, breathing exercises & mindfulness games, all through this creative & imaginative theme!

There are many ways yoga can support our mental health. I am passionate that teaching these mindful tools to children, from an early age, empowers them with tools for life.

Yoga can benefit children by:

💫Body, mind & breath awareness - noticing where we feel emotions in our bodies & how they can affect our breathing, is the first step to understanding when we might be dealing with emotions.

💫Releases tension in body - yoga poses & breathing exercises can release big emotions & built up tension in the muscles & joints, allowing the body to move into the parasympathetic nervous system; bringing a calmer outlook.

💫Builds Resilience - through yoga poses, breathing & mindfulness exercises, yoga develops focus, concentration, acceptance & kindness to ourselves & others.

💫Empowers children - through fun & child friendly games, props & activities (watch this space for another post to follow on this!), children learn a variety of go to tools to use when they need, whether that's at bedtime, in the playground or classroom.
