Mobility Monday: Side Body Stretch🙆‍♂️

Tight through your back and shoulders?

This one opens your lats and mid-back:

👉 Child’s pose
👉 Walk hands to one side
👉 Sit hips back
👉 Breathe into the stretch

30s each side.

Perfect after gym or long days at a desk.

Deep breaths = deeper stretch.

Mobility Monday: Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch🙆‍♂️

Open the front of your hips with this simple stretch:

👉 Half kneeling
👉 Posterior pelvic tilt
👉 Gently shift forward (don’t arch your back)
👉 Reach arm overhead

Hold 30–45s each side.

You should feel it in the front of the hip, not the low back.

Give it a go!

Stiff upper back? Desk posture catching up with you?

Try this thoracic rotation to free up your mid-back and take pressure off your neck + shoulders.

👉 Lie on your side, knees bent
👉 Arms straight out in front
👉 Open top arm across your body and follow with your eyes

10 slow reps each side.

Save this for later and give it a go tonight.

Reintroducing myself👋🏻

I’m a massage therapist and acupuncturist, with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Coventry University. I work from my clinic at Rise Fitness, Ibstock, helping people move better, feel stronger, and perform at their full potential.

I grew up on a family farm (and still start every morning working there🌾), and balance clinic life with endurance running and gym training.

My passion is simple: getting people moving, pain-free and with confidence🙌🏻

Beginning 1st February, there will be a small increase to my treatment prices - my first adjustment in several years. This allows me to keep up with rising costs while continuing to provide the level of care, time and attention you expect and deserve💆🏻‍♂️
