This Week’s Tip: Loving-Kindness Meditation
Mindfulness isn’t only about noticing the present—it’s also about nurturing compassion for ourselves and others. This week, we’re practising Loving-Kindness Meditation, also known as Metta. 💛
It’s a gentle practice of silently sending kind wishes—first to yourself, then outward to others. It’s a reminder that kindness begins within, and it expands beautifully when shared.
✨ How to Try It:
Find a quiet spot and take a few grounding breaths.
Silently repeat kind phrases to yourself, such as:
“May I be happy. May I be healthy. May I live with ease.”
When you’re ready, extend the phrases outward:
“May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you live with ease.”
You can direct this toward loved ones, strangers, or even the whole world. 🌍
💫 Even a few minutes can shift your mood, soften your heart, and remind you that we’re all connected.
