Behind every smile is a human dealing with something.
When I think about my mental well-being and how it’s been affected over the years. I feel very grateful to be here today and to say I got through it.
There have been many times I’ve wanted to give up, to call it a day and during those times nobody had had a clue.
Someone asked me recently on a podcast what has been the most difficult thing to overcome and I said immediately ‘My mum’. Those scars have haunted me my entire life and it’s also the reason I first attempted su***de. The pain was too much to bare.
It’s also the reason I’ve just written a short ebook called ‘Is Your Mother Narcissistic?’ because in understanding some of this, the effects it can have and things we can do to heal, it’s helped me with my mental well-being. It’s not advertised yet but if you want it just comment ‘EBOOK’ below. I also have a podcast on ‘mother wounds’ just comment ‘podcast’ for that.
If you’re struggling and wearing a smile on your face, please have compassion for yourself ❤️ and know that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.
And remember just because someone else is smiling it doesn’t mean everything is ok.
Be kind always.
You never know what silent battle someone is dealing with❣️
