👏 Elliot Avenue in Peterborough is celebrating its fifth consecutive ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission!

Following an inspection between earlier this year, the Lifeways-run service was rated ‘Good’ across all five key areas assessed by the independent regulator.

Karen Jones, Managing Director of Lifeways’ Residential Care division, said: “This report is a clear reflection of the exceptional care our staff provide, ensuring the people we support enjoy the best possible quality of life every day.” 💙

🎃 We had a fantastic time at our Halloween party in Stafford last week, with pumpkins, cheerleaders, and even Smurfs joining the fun!

The celebration was co-produced from start to finish by staff and the people they support. Together, they chose the venue, planned the entertainment, picked the food, and designed the competitions and decorations. 👻

“This event was a brilliant example of co-production in action, with people supported by Lifeways working with our teams to shape and deliver something truly special,” said Gareth Roberts, Director of Quality at Lifeways.

This year, as Lifeways celebrates its 30th birthday, a record 30 teams and individuals have been shortlisted for the regional Great British Care Awards! 🎉

From the North East down to London, this year’s candidates showcase the incredible work of Lifeways teams across the country.

Winners will be revealed at regional ceremonies over the coming weeks, with the national final taking place in March next year.

Earlier this year, Leo, who lives at Brunswick Gardens – a supported living service run by Lifeways – bravely shared her mental health journey, describing it as long, difficult, but ultimately successful. 💪

There was a time when she believed she would never leave hospital – until she found Lifeways.

Now, Leo is thriving. She’s made friends, takes part in art and support groups, and grown hugely in confidence – even sharing her story on camera.
