Back in 2010, while carrying out maintenance work at the hospice, Byron spotted a photo on our wall of his Great-Grandad (J Hurst, top left in the photograph), taken when Beaumond House was still a school. He took a picture of it and often wondered if he’d ever see it again.

A couple of weeks ago, Byron returned to fit our new oven, and our team were more than happy to dig out the original photograph from the cellar for him.

Byron shared, ““I’m really grateful the staff found the picture. They really persevered to find it, and it means a lot to our family because of its sentimental value”
