A Busy Bank Holiday for Cadets of Medway Towns, Saturday Cadets spent the day, cleaning off the slipway of the RNSA of flotsam and rubbish and cleaning down of our boats ready for the boating season.
Then we moved into our first rowing course of the year in the lovely sunshine where cadets got their first chance of the season to get on the water.

A Message to the Cadet Class, tonight your class is having a PT night, so wear clothes suitable for recreational sports.

Saturday 4th April: RNSA slipway clean up. A community project, open for all cadets to assist clear up a riverside area helping not only ourselves but a local organisation.

Monday 6th April. Rowing Course (already closed for booking) 1200-1800

Today Our Junior Division along with a few cadets to supervise made a visit to the RSME Museum in Brompton.

They started the day with a work shop in the morning looking at ww1 artifacts and information about local soldiers who fought in the war. Then after lunch they went on to a self led tour of the museum

Thank you to the staff that arranged and attended this day.

A Reminder to Parents. Unit Courses and Trips must have payment sent to the Unit Bank account by date set before the event and proof of payment sent via email or in person. Parents must click on theses events on the portal and grant Parent Consent for them to attend

All District, Area and National courses are paid via the SCC portal link sent to you via email before cut off point.

Regarding either this weekends visit to the RSME museum (£3) or Monday 6th April’s rowing day (£8) payments must be sent ASAP

Today Seven of the Eleven Units of West Kent district came together to take part in the District 1st aid competition. Medway Towns entered 2 teams and came away with 1st 🥇 Place and 3rd 🥉 Place. Well done to all the Cadets who attended, thank you for the the staff who ran and supported the Event and thank you to Medway Victory (TS Temeraire) for hosting this Event

Cadets: The Unit has been offered the chance (along with other groups from the local area) by the Historic Dockyard to be part of a photograph as part of the Town of Chatham’s Bid of Town of Culture.
We are looking for 4 Cadets who could be at the Dockyard by 1600 this Tuesday (24th Feb) for this event. Please let us know asap and all details will given out tomorrow night.
