So let me say here;

Our division rate is low (under 50% currently for babies coming for tongue tie assessments)

We always try conservative measures first

We always discuss NHS options where available

We always talk about all your options including
Doing nothing
Conservative measures
Division
The decision is yours!

We won’t lie to you. We won’t say ‘there’s no tie’ because we aren’t able to divide and we won’t say ‘there’s a tie’ when there isn’t one.

We are here to follow up with you because tongue tie division isn’t a magic bullet and ongoing support and plans matter

A day off so I went for a walk with Rhi at The Midwife’s Cwtch in Abergavenny and two lovely m**s and their teeny tiny babies. Highly recommend checking out her weekly postnatal walks if you have a little baby (or a big one) near Abergavenny, I came back having seen fluffy cows and feeling virtuous and of course we ended with coffee

I then had a phone call with Coached by Cece who is offering therapeutic ultrasound for mastitis. So useful to know this service is available locally now also worth checking out for post birth recovery as she’s a women’s health physio
