I thought of you today.

Actually you cross my mind too many times to count.

But some days are different.

Today my grief is louder….which makes me uncomfortable because grief is that. Uncomfortable.
Hurting.
Relentlessly pointing out that you are no longer here. I don’t want to feel the pain.

So I ran from it.

Grief caught up to me. It always does.

So I did something different.
I sat with it.
Allowed it to wash over me.
The memories. The inside jokes we shared. The last time I held your hand…

In went the memories. So many of them. Good and bad.
Out went the tears… A release.

And deep sobs..

But you know what happened in that space I allowed open for the grief to enter in?

I felt close to you.

I thought of you today. But instead of rapidly distracting myself from the thoughts…

I invited you in. I invited grief in.

Because grief and my love for you are actually the same. Intertwined.

And with that thought… grief became less frightening.

So I will allow you to catch up to me more often.

And stay awhile.

So this year I have just recently gained my accreditation as a Reiki practitioner as well as being admitted to the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council.
This let's you know that I am trained up to the standards set by both organisations.
I am also a member of The UK Reiki Association.

I am busy planning first Reiki 1 workshop of 2024.
The date is Saturday the 2nd and Sunday the 3rd of March.
Interested? The get in touch and have a chat.
Learning Reiki is a great investment in your own health and wellbeing.
The course is held over the weekend with additional classes and Reiki shares (included in the price), that will give you plenty of time to practise your skills and gain confidence in your ability.
